Quick message from Alpha Female before we start the interview: Hello and thank you for having me. I hope you enjoy this interview. I’m on my way to an action filled weekend with WXW Wrestling in Germany and found some time to answer the questions from HeelFaceWrestling.com. Let’s go!
H/F: At what age did you begin watching wrestling?
AF: I started to watch wrestling when I was 10 years old. Back in the days it was WWF and WCW in German TV. I was a WCW girl and witnessed the whole nWo storyline. It was a great and exciting time!
H/F: When did you know that you wanted to become a wrestler?
AF: I always wanted to be a part of the wrestling industry. I never really wanted to be actually in the ring, but when I was 17, I saw two girls in Germany fighting and from there on I wanted to do so too.
H/F: Where did you begin your training and who did you train with?
AF: I started in Berlin Germany. Later in my career I went to many training seminars in Germany and the UK. Then, I got hired by Stardom in Japan and learned my craft there. Nowadays I learn a lot from Al Snow at the Al Snow academy in London.
H/F: How long have you been in the business?
AF: My first training was September 19 in 2000 and my first match was April 4th 2001.
H/F: Who are some of your influences or people that you look up to in the business?
AF: I admire Meiko Satomura. She has been in the ring for more than 20 years. She is incredible, humble, sweet and always gives her very best. I never saw a bad match of hers. My dream is to face her in the ring. She is my idol!
H/F: What is your entrance music? Any reason for picking this song?
AF: Matrix clubbed to death. It just fits perfectly to my in ring persona. It has a good rhythm, touch of classic. I love classic music!
H/F: What is the name of your finishing move?
AF: It is called the Omega Plex!
H/F: What have you learned about yourself in your journey of becoming a wrestler?
AF: That I am more stronger that I thought, mentally and physically. And that I can survive, even when I thought “this is it,” I always could go on.
H/F: What has been your favorite part of your career so far?
AF: My time in Japan. I found my family that I was searching for so long. I found peace and learned so much in and outside of the ring.
H/F: Who would your dream match be against?
AF: As I mentioned above, Meiko Satomura. But also I want to fight with Gail Kim, Mia Yim, Eva Marie, Sasha Banks, Victoria, Taya from Lucha Underground and many more!
H/F: Other than the dream match opponent, is there anyone that you haven’t worked with that you would like to one day?
AF: I guess I answered this question in the one above. I should read the questions first. Ha ha!
H/F: What are some of your goals for 2017?
AF: Winning more championships, touring in the USA, attracting more fans aka followers, working for tv and improving my skills and look.
H/F: Favorite cheat meal? AF: Anything that has chocolate in it!
H/F: Favorite type of music? AF: Classic & country.
H/F: Favorite type of movies? AF: Realistic ones, with deeper meanings.
H/F: What is something that not many people know about you?
AF: Many people, especially the ones who never met me, don’t know that I’m a pretty nice person & hilarious, keep it as a secret. 😉
H/F: Favorite place that you have wrestled so far?
AF: Too many to mention. Every venue/place has a special place in my heart.
H/F: Bucket list of places you want to wrestle?
AF: Mexico, Canada and Australia.
H/F: What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t wrestling?
H/F: Finish this statement, if I wasn’t involved in wrestling, I would be doing…
AF: God knows, no idea, I can’t live without it. I tried, but never found anything as satisfying.
H/F: Do you have any words for your fans?
AF: Thank you so much for being on my side, following this journey and reading my interviews!
