Holidead discusses upcoming Sabotage event

On Friday October 7, 2016, Sabotage Wrestling will host an all women’s wrestling event that will be held in Covina, California. Several women are scheduled to be on the card that night and we had the opportunity to catch up with one of them, Holidead, who also happens to be one half of the Twisted Sisterz tag team along with Thunder Rosa.

H/F: Talk about how you became involved with Sabotage.

Holidead: Well, being one half of the Twisted Sisterz, my sister Thunder Rosa hit me up and asked if I wanted to come do some damage and represent the darkside and I’m like, ‘is the darkside the best side?’ So that was an obvious yes. Anytime I can be a part of something to showcase what I can do, I’m definitely down.

H/F: What does it mean for you to be a part of this event?

Holidead: It means a lot to be apart of this event. I mean, we’ve got women from all over the world represented here, Mexico, Italy, Japan, Canada, The U.S.A….and hey with Holidead in the mix we even got the Darkside represented. I have a feeling there will be a lot of eyes on this event and a lot of attention towards these ladies. Women from all around coming to prove themselves and I’m excited to show what I can do and bring to the eyes of Sabotage and women’s wrestling.

H/F: What can fans expect from yourself and all of the other wrestlers on this card?

Holidead: I think the fans are in for a treat. Rough and tough ass women coming together for one night only to do what they love. A lot of whom haven’t met each other in the ring before, as well as in a new territory. New faces in new places, I think everyone is going to bring their A-1 game.

H/F: Who are you looking forward to seeing the most from this card?

Holidead: Who am I looking forward to seeing most? Hmm that’s a tough one, but going with the first thing in my head, I’m going to go with Kaitlin Diamond and Diosa Athena. Not to be biased, but both like myself and Thunder Rosa, are members of the Stardom Japanese faction Oedo Tai. I have yet to meet either in person, but seeing that Oedo Tai are made up of full throttle butt kicking women that march to the beat of their own drum, I have a feeling it will be a wicked good in person meeting. It’s like a family reunion meeting those cousin’s you’ve heard so much about.

H/F: Do you think there will be other events like this in the future?

Holidead: Absolutely. Women’s wrestling is definitely making strong strides in the sport of pro wrestling. And I know I’m a little twisted and crazy, but I see Sabotage being like one of THE top promotions for top women around the country to showcase what they can do. Bringing women from all walks of life together to beat the crap out of each other, crazy good stuff. Ecstatic to be on this ride from the ground up.

H/F: Anything else you would like to tell the fans?

Holidead: Get your tickets like yesterday! If you are in the area or near the area or even if you aren’t, this is going to be an event worth making the trip for. Women’s wrestling is steady on the rise for getting the credibility it deserves. And an event like Sabotage is only adding value to it. Spread the word on facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, youtube and whatever social media outlets are out there. You call yourself a fan of professional wrestling, then be there, PERIOD….oh and p.s. The darkside is the best side….for anyone that was not aware 😉

Stay tuned to Heel/Face Wrestling as we will have more interviews with more of the women who are on this card and we will bring you even more coverage on this event as more information becomes available. So far, three matches have been announced: Kat Von Heez vs Delilah Doom, Heather Monroe vs Diosa Atenea and Ruby Raze & Shotzi Blackheart vs Christi Jaynes & Safari in a tag match. Also just recently announced, Keneisha Moon has been added to the card.

Be sure to check out some of Holidead’s merchandise, which you can order directly from her or any event that she is participating in. We especially like the plush dolls that she has come out with.
