Kaitlin Diemond discusses upcoming Sabotage event

On Friday October 7, 2016, Sabotage Wrestling will host an all women’s wrestling event that will be held in Covina, California. Several women are scheduled to be on the card that night and we had the opportunity to catch up with one of them, Kaitlin Diemond, who resides in Brantford, Ontario in Canada. This is the first time that Kaitlin will be performing in the state of California, however, she is no stranger to performing in the United States. You can read what we talked about below.

H/F: Talk about how you became involved with Sabotage.
KD: My involvement with Sabotage was simple. I was talking business with Holidead about her possibly wrestling up in Canada and myself in California, then a few days later she told me to message Thunder Rosa, and boom! Booked minutes later.
H/F: What does it mean for you to be a part of this event?
KD: I’m extremely excited and honoured to be apart of this event. Women from all over the world will be represented, so it’s a very big deal.
H/F: What can fans expect from yourself and all of the other wrestlers on this card?
KD:  First and foremost I’m a hard worker and a sound story teller. I don’t waste motion in the ring. Everything is done for a reason and a purpose. I don’t know much about the majority of the ladies on this card, but I can almost guarantee there’s nobody like me. I’m 100% authentic, I’m not trying to play a character or be something I’m not. Who I am is interesting enough.

H/F: Who are you looking forward to seeing the most from this card?
KD: I’m looking forward to meeting Thunder Rosa and Holidead for the first time. Our careers have some parallels and I have been following their journeys online for quite sometime. I have nothing but respect for them. I’m excited to see Kairi Hojo again, as she was the last woman I wrestled in Japan earlier this year. She’s a pure treat for the fans.

H/F: Do you think there will be other events like this in the future?
KD: Future events always depend on the success of the current event. My hope is that this event does well and more can be planned immediately. I’ve never seen two people hustle harder to promote an event than Brian and Mel have. So I hope it pays off for them.

H/F: Anything else you would like to tell the fans?
KD: To the fans- Thank you for supporting women’s independent wrestling. You are the life and blood of our business and I hope you appreciate all of the sacrifices we all make to entertain you. I wouldn’t be happy doing anything else!

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
