Anarchy Championship Wrestling will host its eighth annual American Joshi Queen of Queens tournament on Sunday June 26. Eight women will be competing to be crowned the 2016 Queen of Queens winner. Five of the women are making their debut in the tournament and we caught up with one of them, Sage Sin, to talk about the upcoming tournament.
H/F: This is your first time competing in this tournament. Talk a little bit about what it means to wrestle in this tournament.
SS: Not only is it my first time wrestling in this tournament but also my first time wrestling in Texas so I’m very excited and honored to be chosen to be a part of this.
H/F: What is it going to take for you to win this tournament?
SS: It will take a lot of strength, determination, and of course smarts. I have all of this and more. You can be strong but you can also out smart any opponent with just the right tactics.
H/F: What would it mean to you to win this tournament?
SS: Every victory means something. A tournament victory with multiple opponents isn’t your average win so it certainly means a lot proving you are worthy of being called the victor. Especially coming to a new state, a new promotion with different competition from various backgrounds and what not .
H/F: What can fans expect to see when they see Sage Sin step in the ring?
SS: Fans can expect the unexpected. The strange and unusual but certainly aggressive style that I bring when I enter the ring. I leave it all out there. Nothing’s held back. Blood, sweat, and tears.
H/F: Any words for the other competitors in this tournament?
SS: Trick or treat!!!
Be sure to catch Sage Sin and all of the other great wrestlers in action on Sunday June 26 at the Mohawk, located at 912 Red River in Austin, Texas.
