MAIN EVENT 6-MAN MAYHEM – ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PROVING GROUND INSTANT REWARD

ROH WORLD CHAMPION JAY LETHAL vs ACH vs MOOSE vs RODERICK STRONG vs JAY BRISCOE vs KYLE O’REILLY

This is where things get interesting. If anyone other than Jay Lethal picks up a win in this match, they will automatically be rewarded with a championship match against Lethal on the spot! Lethal does not even have to be pinned and he could be forced to defend his title after who knows how long of doing battle already. This match could prove to be very costly for the champion, unless he takes care of business on his own and forces a submission or gets a pin fall.

ACH will be performing just a short drive away from his hometown of Austin, Texas. ACH is no stranger to championships, as he has had success in just about every wrestling organization he has been in prior to ROH. He possesses many dynamic moves and his high flying maneuvers make him a legit contender in this match. Although I don’t think he will win, don’t sleep on ACH!

Moose has been one of my favorite wrestlers since the first time I saw him wrestle in ROH. He has the size and ability to become one of the greatest wrestlers and he keeps improving each time that I see him perform. Although he hasn’t had much success in his short career, he is making strides towards becoming a major player in wrestling. It wouldn’t shock me one bit if Moose came out victorious in this match and earned himself a title shot against Lethal, however I don’t think he will.

Roderick Strong has been wrestling for over 16 years, has held gold just about every promotion he has been in and he has had classic matches with some of the best wrestlers in the business. I’m not going to sit here and give you his whole resume, but the guy can flat out wrestle and is always a serious threat when he steps through those ropes. He has had one reign of the ROH World Championship and is itching to get his hands back on that belt. Another person who could have his hand raised, earn a title shot and I wouldn’t be surprised.

Jay Briscoe is one of two men (Austin Aries) who have held the ROH World Championship twice. The list of accomplishments he has had in his career are a mile long and he wouldn’t love anything more than to become the only man to hold the title on three different occasions. He’s held his own against the best in the world and has proven he’s got what it takes to get the job done to win the title. I know I sound like a broken record by now, but he could very well win a shot at the title. If I were to put my money on anyone earning a shot this Saturday night, it’s Briscoe.

Kyle O’Reilly is one half of the great tag team reDRagon, Bobby Fish is the other member of this duo. I was just giving my praises to this team to my friend Rudy while we were at another event in Dallas a few weeks ago. O’Reilly is a solid wrestler and is a former 3 time ROH tag champion along with Fish. Although he is still in the early stages of his career, O’Reilly is starting to become one of the better wrestlers in the business. While a win in this match would do great wonders for his singles career, I just don’t see it in the cards for him this time around.

That leaves us the ROH World Champion Jay Lethal. What can I say about this man that hasn’t already been said? At one time he held the ROH Television title and the ROH World Championship at the same time. Lethal is the longest reigning Television Champion in the history of ROH and has proven, on many occasions, why he has been chosen as “the guy” in ROH. I could see him having to defend his title Saturday night, but I don’t see him losing his title. Once all is said and done Saturday night, Lethal will show why he is the one of the best wrestlers in the world!

We will have some live coverage of this event on our twitter feed and back here on the site. Be sure to follow us on twitter (@heelfaceraslin)for all the latest happening with Heel/Face Wrestling!
