Wrumors: December 6, 2015

I’m back with another fresh set of Wrumors for you. As always, these are just some of the things that are circulating and at the moment hold no real truth to them. So don’t get too caught up in them and don’t yell at the author, yes I’m talking to you Carlo.

1. Del Rio is set to split from Zeb Colter very soon.

The word is that Del Rio and Zeb could split as soon as the TLC pay per view. Del Rio is said to be retaining his United States title in his match against Jack Swagger and feud with John Cena when he returns from vacation. I was a little confused when creative decided to pair these two together, so I guess they realized it wasn’t that great of an idea too since they are splitting rather quickly.

2. Sami Zayn set to return.

The word is that Zayn is set to return to NXT and will wrestle on the upcoming UK tour. This is great news, Zayn was set to already make his jump to the main roster and it will only be a matter of time before he gets that same opportunity.

3. Jay Lethal to NXT?

His contract with Ring of Honor is up soon and the word is that Vince and HHH are going to make a push to sign Leathal. The word is that they want to have him take the same approach as Samoa Joe and wrestle in NXT for awhile and eventually make a jump to the main roster. Lethal is one of my favorite wrestlers, so if he can come to WWE/NXT that would be awesome!

4. Brock Lesnar vs Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 32?

Not happening. At least that’s what the WWE is saying for now. They have denied any truth to the wrumor that they want this match at Mania, however, anything can happen so don’t close the door on it just yet. Owens is another one of my favorite wrestlers, so a match like this would be huge for him!

5. No Stone Cold at WrestleMania.

For months now, there have been wrumors going around that Stone Cold will wrestle one final match at WM32, but he and the WWE continue to insist that there is absolutely no truth to that. We won’t truly know until maybe like February or early March for sure, but I think it’s looking more and more like he will not be there to wrestle. That’s not to say he won’t be there, he just won’t be there to wrestle anyone. We can only hope that we at least get to see him hit one or two more Stone Cold Stunners at the show.
